One of our neighbours is the so-called “Cooperaria Cololó”, a model cooperative. Learn more about this fascinating project: the farm went almost bankrupt a few years ago and was restored employing mostly parentless kids. These kids transformed the state-owned land into a farm that provides the region with all sorts of goods and makes a living for some 50 people.
